Electrical Current Animation

So I was messing around with the 2D Animation mode in Blender and made a circle and then sculpted it. I had it to were it would add a keyframe every time I made changes to the object. I also added a cube and turned into an abstract looking sundial to go with the animation of the electrical current as well, so that the model would appear behind the circle on the bottom and in front of the circle at the top.
