Game Assets for The Bevy Expedition (February)

I tested out the new turning animations for the biplane to see if this would be the ideal movement for the player in The Bevy Expedition game.


I started importing some of the models and testing them in the game to see what they would look like with the animations.

In this GIF, there's an ancient relic I added that you can collect after you defeat the boss at the end of the level within the video-game.

This is the boss and it drops the treasure after you defeat it.


In this GIF shows the new turning animation for the player. The turret has also been added to the game.

This will be the lightning to have a bit of an atmosphere to the game.

This is how the lightning looks like in-game.

I also added the sun to make it feel more like daytime.

Added torches to the entrance to make it more cave-like.

This is the new platform design for the first level.


This is the bubble shield power up you can obtain the game. It will make you invincible for a brief period of time.

Here is the bubble shield that currently is in the coding phase.

And here is the plane model in the game.

This is the silver plane that was in my other blog post. It is now in the game.

This anti-aircraft gun will also be added to the game to make it a but more challenging.


I actually wanted a more simple design for the turret and so I came up with this as the final product.



This plane will carry the treasure away from the player at the beginning of the level. The treasure will then be transferred to the boss that the player must defeat before the timer runs out. So really this plane will be moving in the background of the game. It will appear near the end of the game were then, the boss, will take the treasure away from this carrier type plane right before the boss fight sequence starts.



This is the carrier plane in-game.

This will be one of the bosses in the game. It's a black Viper plane that will appear at the end of the level.







This statue will be part of the foreground in the second level.



Here is the new soundtrack I made for the first level.

This is sound effect is played when the player gets the treasure.

This will be the ancient writing tilemap for the second level.

This will be the interior of the temple for the second level.


This is the soundtrack for the Temple of Darkness (level 2) in the game.

This sound happens when the ghost appears in level 2.

This will be the Cowardly Bat enemy in the second level. It will shoot at the player, then it will fly off screen to the left or right

I added the ancient symbols, the statues, and the Cowardly Bat to the second level. The bat hasn't been coded yet, that's why it is just frozen in mid-air for now.

This ghost will appear at random in the second level, there will be a jump-scare sound effect when it appears. It will follow the player and shoot bullets at Caziro (name of player) in multiple directions.

I added stalagmites and stalactites in the second level of the game to make it more like a temple/or cave.
